Andreas L. Hofbauer is one of the main theoretical contributors to the project. He will attend the project 7th till 11th of February and contribute texts and video-comments.

short biography

Andreas Leopold Hofbauer was born in Vienna, Austria. He studied Philosophy, Political Science and Dramatics in Vienna, Berlin and Oxford. He is the author of several books dealing with psychoanalysis, political theory, economy and aesthetics. He has translated works of Slavoj Zizek, Chantal Mouffe, Peter F. Drucker, John Fiske and others. Additional projects include several performances using various media. Currently he is working on a book concerning the eroticism of fabric, an anthology for Konkursbuch Verlag (Tübingen) entitled pandrogyne, and a translation of Thomas de Quincey’s Household Wreck for Matthes & Seitz (Berlin). He has a son named Marius and lives in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
